I am just tickled pink with how this project turned out! I decided to make this album I have had in my brain for a few months - but I was waiting on getting myWishblade working so I could also offer a FREE download of the page file to use on your digital cutters - like the Wishblade, Pazzle, and hopefully on the Sure-cuts-alot on the Cricut! I am not sure what it is called - but it is a Circle Mini Scrapbook that stands up on a tabletop. Here is my version:

I used Kraft Cardstock for the base of the pages - I cut out 6 of them on my wishblade. You can download the GSD file - wishblade users or JPG file-all other digital cutters. You will have to do your thing with the jpg for other cutters - since I do not even begin to know all the different file types that could be necessary for all those new fangled gadgets out there! If you do not have a cutter - I can cut the base pages out for you - they are $3 for 5 pages plus $1.50 shipping and handling if I need to mail it to you. Just let me know what color you want your base pages to be when you purchase them!
I embellished my book with Reece Collection Tags! I have oodles of extra tags from this collection - what a great way to use them. I did stamp also on each page with Burnt Umber ink and a few different stamp sets - mix it up a little.

This is a great planner - with room to grow because there are a few empty pockets. You can leave them out or keep them in for extra space if you want.

I printed mine onto ivory cardstock and used Ivory envelopes - but you can use whatever works for your color scheme. I was inspired by the pages at Organized Christmas - but I wanted more color to the pages so I made my own in Publisher. (I goofed and left out this info and link in my original posting - thanks for the inspiration!)
You will need:

Additional pattern and plain cardstock to embellish.
9 #10 envelopes (4 1/8 x 9 ½)

This weekends Christmas in July class was SO much fun! I did a series of purple Christmas cards for the card stack using the Bazzill Purples. It was a challenge but they turned out great! The Christmas Planner was a huge hit! I sold out of kits but may do up a few more. In fact I was considering offering it as a class at the next Crop-a-ganza event (that is IF they can still squeeze me in as a vendor!!!) The keychain was my FAVORITE project though. A little guardian angel watching over you. I will share pictures of everything soon - here is a sneak peak of the cover of the planner:

Today I have for you the demo project from my last Stamping Night Out - a graduated chipboard and transparency book with the Bind It All. Here is the finished book I made for the demo (I always give it away so I did not add pictures or personalization)

If you would like to make your own here is the down low...
You will need:
2 pieces from Chipboard Stack
1 sheet of Transparency
1 6" section of Bind It All Wires
Bind It All
Heavy Duty Corner Rounder
Rotary Blade type paper trimmer ( I have a Carl)
Stazon Ink (White for Transparency)
I started with two pieces from the Chipboard Stack. You want to cut one piece to 2 1/4 x 4 1/2. This will form the two top pages - and your second sheet from the chipboard stack will be the back page.
Corner round 2 corners of each page.
Now you want 2 transparency pages - I cut mine to 3 1/4 x 4 1/2 and 4 1/4 x 4 1/2. You need to corner round two corners of these pages also - but DO NOT use the Heavy Duty Corner Rounder!!! It will jam even if you stack it with the cardstock or with the chipboard - and you will get mad. (Experience talking ladies - seriously! I think I jammed about 4 different corner rounders - so just cut it with scissors and be happy!!)
I lined mine up with the chipboard pages and cut along the edge with my Mini Kai Scissors. Stamp and edge them before moving on as well - I used White Stazon to egde the pages and I also stamped Curls and Swirls on the edge of both pages.
Stack your pages - and punch with Bind It All - you can do 2 chipboard pieces at one time with the pink BIA but only one with the blue. So I broke my book into 2 sections and punched them both.
Now stack your book back together and flip the back page around to the front cover - so on top you will be looking at the INSIDE of the BACK cover.
Insert wires into holes - because the next to last page is transpareny I inserted the rings from the back instead of the front because the "ends" of the wires will let that page slip thru! Putting them thru the back places the bends of the wires along the edge of that transparency page - instead of the open ends.
Now press with BIA.
Now you can embellish and decorate your book!
I fell in LOVE with this project which is featured in the Spring Serendipity and also was a project that we got to make at the TAC Annual Winter Retreat. I loved it so much that I offered it as a class at Cropaganza a few weeks ago - and also made up some extra kits - but with a new color palette and more rustic feel. Check it out:
The pockets of the book are 3x4 - and the length of the entire book laid out is 12 inches. Each flower is a pull out of deep brown cardstock - that you can add pictures or journaling to. Isn't it beautiful?? I just LOVE the AMelia collection - the palette is awesome!

I am off and running to DJ's regional wrestling tournament - this will probably be his last of the year ashe is not anticipating making it to state! Isn't it just DARLING!!! I especially love the ginormous spiral! I know I could have used a smaller one but it screamed BIG SPIRAL at me! This little ditty is so super EASY to do too! You will need:
2 pages from a Mini Board Book
2 3x3 pieces of Pattern Paper
7 2 3/4 x 2 Brown Cardstock
1 complete calendar printed and punched out with the Giga Scallop Square Punch by Marvy (Click the name to order one for anyone who does not have access locally!)
1 section of Bind It All wire
Bind It All
Walnut Ink with Dauber Tops
Zip Dry Glue
Emery board or sanding block
Ribbons

I used the Willoughby collection for my calendar - Yummy! You can download the calendar file here: Download calendarmini.pdf (0.0K) - be warned it prints 8 full calendars - so it will take 13 sheets of cardstock but you will end up with enough for 8 calendars.
Start by ripping 2 pages off your mini board book. It is pretty easy to get them off the webbing on the spine.
Then using a walnut ink with Dauber top ink all the edges - oh so easy! Also cover one side of each piece - this will be the inside and not seen part of your calendar.
Next adhere your pattern paper to the NOT walnut inked side of your board book pieces. I used Zip Dry glue - which is fabulous for this type of project because it boogers up if you get it on the front of the paper or extra oozes out. (the excess will rub right off in other words!) You can sand the edges of the paper to make them match right up - and if you do I would dauber the edges again to cover the white edge of the paper also.
Next punch all holes for Bind It All - you will do both the board book pieces and all the 2 3/4 x 2 cardstock pieces - along the 2" side. These pieces will be the pages of the calendar that you will attach your calendar punch outs to.
Next insert the wire and bind your covers and pages together - do this BEFORE you add the calendar punch outs - to make it easier to NOT mess up the order! I made the pages smaller than the covers by enough to have 2 wires on either side not being used by the pages. This will allow you to flip the page without Messing up the ribbons we will tie on at the end! Genius! You will want to stack them with the pattern papers inside with the calendar pages in between.
The squish the wires
After you have it bound together you can now attach the punch outs to the front and back of each page. I wanted mine to go in order on one side and then you just turn int around and go back the other way for the rest of the year. SO I started with my stack in order - and i took my first piece from the top of the pile (December 08)
and then took my next piece to attach to the back of that page from the BOTTOM of the pile (december 09).
For the next page - top of the pile (January 09)
then bottom of the pile for the back of that page (november 09).
And so on until I had the entire thing completed. It sounds confusing - but it works! Feel free to attach them however you want though if you do not get what I am saying!
Once all the pages are applied - you can now tie ribbons to the outside wire only. You can do both sides - I like doing just one side.
And there you have it! The most adorable Mini Calendar ever!
I received the coolest neatest most awesome book from my friend and fellow Angel Su Klinkner a few months ago. I instantly knew I was going to have to figure out how she did it! The only thing holding me back from jumping right in was that she used a sewing machine and stitched it together. Anyone who knows me that is like the ONE craft I do not do - sewing. Never have never could - in fact I once borrowed a sewing machine from a friend (thanks Debi!) and I had to return it when it ran out of thread because I could not re-thread it! LOL!!!
Here is the completed book - just so you know what I am making!
SO to make the book you will need:
2 4" Coasters
1 12x12 sheet of Cardstock or double sided paper
Scor-pal
Stapler
Adhesive to adhere paper to coasters - I am using Zip Dry
Layers and Embellies for your cover and inner pages
Stamps and Ink to stamp and edge
First thing you will do is cut off a 4" strip from your 12x12 piece of cardstock. Cut it into 3 4x4 pieces - two of these will be used to cover your front and back covers of your book.
Then you will place this piece onto your Scor-pal with the 12" side along the top fence. We want to score this to an accordian fold - so you will score half your lines on one side of this piece and then the other half on the back side so that it will turn out nice and even. SO first score at 2, 6, and 10.
Then flip your piece over and score at 4 and 8.
Next take this piece and cut it into 2 strips that are 12" long by just shy of 4" - Since we are using 4" coasters so that they will fit inside the covers.
You will want to take just a smidge off the second piece - to make it just less than 4 also.
Determine which side of your strips you want to face OUT on your book - then stamp and edge your pieces. You can then fold along the score lines to form an accordian piece out of both strips.
Next you are going to join these two strip together with the stapler along the THIRD or MIDDLE score line. When you do this the two strips form "Baffles" out of each of their respective Accordian folds. I found it easier to use a couple clips and clip the two pieces together so they do not slip while stapling.
Before you staple - be sure that you know where the staples come out of your stapler - so you can get them lined up right on the score exactly. If you do not have an extended reach stapler you will want to fold along the first score line so that your stapler will reach the third score line.
I put two staples along the score line.
Now that you have them joined you can attach the ends to your coaster covers. I edged both coasters on both sides - and I did a line along the center of the sides that would be facing the pages of the book.
You will fold the end pages flat so that they will both attach to your coaster.
Then attach the front and back pieces to your coasters.
Stamp and embellish as desired. Here is my finished book ready for some Fall pictures!

Oh ya - I need to issue an official Apology for the crazy driver that almost ran over me too! I was walking the other day and i noticed that when the sun is shining right there it is total black where I was walking so she probably did not see me till she swerved! Poor lady! I have been walking on the other side of the street in that spot since I noticed that. SO - sorry crazy driver - you are not so crazy after all!
A shift has occurred. I have finally left my Reece papers in their appropriate folder in my paper hanging folders for an entire day. Well I did glance at them lovingly once but I resisted and went with my new love Willoughby instead! I used it on my sketch card yesterday, and I also used them for a few projects that I worked on this past weekend. I wanted to show my latest obsession - clear albums! I made these using a sizzix die and the clear boxes that our stamps come in. Since I get OODLES of stamp boxes I have forever been on a quest to find cool uses for them. Check this out!
Isn't that fun? I used the Willoughby collection - which yes you heard it right -is now my new fav! I have made such a switch in the last year to where I almost catch myself saying that green is my favorite color! Huh? If you can say that too then Willoughby is for you. It is LUSCIOUS I tell ya!
I will share a scrapbook page I made tomorrow - using these same pictures. Oh ya -I used the Antique setting on my HP printer for the pictrues in the book and scrapbook page. I LOVE that setting - it takes the harshness off the colors and give a nice, uh, antique look to them!
It took me most of the day yesterday to unpack and get caught up on e-mails - oh the woes of being gone for a weekend! I REALLY wanted to take a nap - but I resisted. Today I hope to get some creating done and lots of updates on my team blog with the projects and ideas from the weekend.
It is hard to face changes isn't it? We have been facing alot of changes with The Angel Company over the last few years - and alot of them have been for the good. Last night was Stamping Night out! Yippee! Talk about a fun night - all my girlfriends, nifty projects, snacks galore - who could ask for more??? Tonight I will be showing off another project that features the Bind It All! I just LOVE that thing - and I use it like crazy! This project was one we made at seminar in one of our wonderful classes. We were all give a book and papers cut to size - and we could free for all the actual pages and layouts.
I stippled all the edges with Burnt Umber Palette Ink and the Color Dusters - those little brushes are awesome for soft edging! I stamped along the edges of the pages and then layered all my pieces in and onto the book. The Reece paper is just YUMMY!!! Add in some pewter hardware and Reece ribbons and it is just scrumptious! I cannot wait to get some pictures and journaling added in too. Here are the rest of the pages:
