Whenever I look at this stamp set I just want to make multicolor backgrounds! Isn't it funny how we all see stamps and paper so differently? If you have a card or page or project using this butterfly bits stamp set from TAC please leave a comment with a link so I can check it out. I love this set and cannot get this background technique out of my brain. Inspire me!
I used my Gelly Roll Glaze Pens to color in the flower on the tag. LOVE those pens!
I went over the letters too just for a little accent. I strung the ribbon thru the slide holes and just left them flagged off to the right.
The slide was cut out with a Cuttlebug die and the white circle was my 1" circle punch. They fit together so nice. I put the slide onto the card with a Pop Dot for added interest and dimension. Nothing like a pop dot huh?
Stamps: Butterfly Bits and Little Friends stamp sets from The Angel Company
Ink: Noir, Orangerie and Sunflower Palette Ink
Papers: White Cardstock, Harvest Orange 2 and Golden Yellow 2 Matchmaker Cardstock
Accessories: Gelly Roll Glaze pens, Circle Punch, Cuttlebug Slide Die, ribbon
6 days and a wake up til school starts... I know I will be BAWLING when I drop Logan off for his first day of kindergarten next week - but I am still counting down I tell you! As a matter of fact I already have a lunch date for next friday! After 5 years of staying home all day everyday with kids I am really looking forward to the peace and quiet. Just think of all the projects I can get done?!?
I asked Eric last week if he thought I should try to find a part time job - during school hours of course. I was shocked that he said no! Now brace yourself and do not keel over dead when you read this next part. He said I can focus more on my stamping and scrapbooking. Oh ya - he did add the word business to the end of the sentence - but STILL! Happy dance I tell ya!
The other thing that school starting means that my Womens Bible Study will start meeting again -yeah! Tuesdays are my favorite day of the week - with bible study and weekly stamping with my peeps. Those are the keys to my sanity for sure. What a blessing it is to have such a supportive beautiful group of women around me! Thank you God for bringing each and every one of them into my life.

What a great way to use that set! I've got mine all trimmed and ready to go, but I was just getting the "same ol'" ideas for using it. Now I know what I want to do! Thank you for sharing. I feel a case of "CASE" coming on. :)
