Now I am REALLY excited about our new Inspiration book and catalog that is due out in June. But TAC just got us all even more excited - when they released these sneak peeks to angels to pre-order from the new catalog!
I think I want - no i KNOW i want every one of them! TAC lets us angels Pre-order a "Pack" at a specTACular price before the catalog - and it gets delivered right after the release - how cool is that? Just another perk of Being an Angel!
Stamps: Sketched Bet Lowers Stamp Set from The Angel Company
Ink: Noir Palette Ink
Papers: Birch Cardstock and Hemmingway Collection Cardstock, Pattern Paper and Hardware
Accessories: Colored Pencils and Edge Distresser
This 2 page spread incorporates a 6x6 on an 8x8 page - with the pictures and accents flowing over those elements. It is just a taste of the Simply Savvy Schemes System of scraping that I have been working with - which will work for any size pages!
It is official! The Colorado Vacation 2006 Album is complete! I have such a sense of accomplishment - and I love the results. I used only the Hemmingway Collection for the entire album (Pattern Papers, Cardstock, Ribbons and Hardware) and only one Alphabet Stamp Set - Sketched Bet Lowers. It really did make it so much easier to knock out pages by limiting to one palette. I traveled quite a bit to different crops while working on this book - and to only have to pack those papers and accessories really lightened my load - although all the tools I took along did not help!
So what is on the agenda for today? Well we have softball practice - which Eric just took Laney too - so I get some quiet time in the studio yeah! At 4PM I am working the Duck Pond at the school carnival - whoohoo! We bought 60 tickets so the kids should have a grand ole time. They have it in the gym - so pictures usually are really cruddy since it is an OLD gym. But I might try to get a few shots.
Oh my gosh - the Mother's Day Tea yesterday was awesome! Those little kids just make you smile all over. They sat all the moms around the outside of the room, and had the kids sit right in front of their mom. It was SO crowded! They all went around the room and introduced their moms - which was just darling. I was thinking Laney would talk all shy and quiet into the mic -but she didn't! Nice and loud and clear -she did good! Then they all stood up and faced us and sang this song. Those of you who know me - yep you guessed it - I was in tears! I looked around the room and I was the only one. Why am I so emotional like this? My mom says because I sucked my finger when I was little and that people who do that are more emotional. Really? Well I do not think I quit before I was 8 or 9 so no wonder! I still twirl my hair! LOL! Anywho - the tea was just darling. I have been trying to watch what i eat - and they served cake and this sherbet punch - so I let Logan eat and drink mine. (Laney was ticked he was even there - but I told her next year I will come alone - where does she get that mean streak?) They took the absolute CUTEST picture of Laney and I - I am hoping to get it in an e-mail from her teacher. It is one of like 3 pictures ever that I like of myself! I am SO glad I got to go to the tea. It really meant alot to the kids and it was super sweet!
Here is one of the other pictures that I like of myself -
Isn't that hilarious??? Eric took that with his phone - during the "Boat Drill" on the cruise. Before the ship can Launch they have to every single person accounted for and in line with their assigned Life Jacket on - it is the most miserable 20 minutes - especially if you have a guy behind you who had no sense of space and keeps ramming his jacket into you because he is turned around talking. ARGH! I dunno know why I like this picture so much - it is really over exposed - but I think I must look good in orange or something!
Well I better stop rambling and get over to my desk and start creating! I hope you get to Play this weekend too!
