I recommend cutting out all pieces above first and then writing on each piece in the ver middle what measurement you need to score at. SO for the outside piece you would write 3 3/4 in the middle and you can also put "Level 1" so you will not get confused.
For Box:
- Level 1 of box: With 11¼ x 11¼ piece â score at 3¾ from all 4 sides.
- Each side of your piece now had three squares on it. For pockets only cut along the right side of the middle square on all 4 sides. You will now cut all 4 corner squares in half diagonally - starting where that square is cut away from main piece - with a side in your hand you will cut from the bottom of the right square to the opposite corner. Fold diagonal cut pieces over and adhere to side of each flap to create a diagonal pocket on each.
3. For inserts punch out 4 circles with 1½" circle punch and fold in half. Adhere along the 3 3/8";edge of Insert pieces.
5. For level 3: Take 8¼ x 8¼ piece of cardstock and score at 2¾ from all 4 sides. This time cut the 2 score lines along one side of cardstock, and then the 2 score lines on the opposite side of the cardstock - this will form an H out of your piece. Fold along remaining score lines. You will cut off off approx. 3/4" from 2 of the folding flaps on each side of the H so that they will fold one over the other and be held down with a photo turn (WHen held down your piece will now look like a plus sign). Attach layers of coordinating papers to each flap as desired.
For Lid:
1. Score 7 7/8 x 7 7/8 piece of pattern paper at 2" on all 4 sides. Mark all 4 intersections with a pencil dot.
2. With circle Colluzzle â line up one side of circle ends points of template with 2 of your pencil dots and cut half of the circle to create a round flap. Repeat for other 3 sides.
3. Fold on original score lines to form lid.
4. Cut out 2 more circles from coordinating cardstock from the same size on template. Fold in half and cut in half along fold. Fold in half again and adhere to inside of lid.
5. Adhere additional layer inside of lid if desired for added sturdiness or to cover hardware from top.
4. For Level 2: Take 2 pieces of 9¾ x 9¾ Pattern Paper and adhere them with adhesive only in the center back to back with pattern sides facing out. Score back to back piece at 3¼ from all 4 sides. Cut off the corner square on all 4 corners - you will use these as layers for the opposite side of the flaps. Once cut off you will want to adhere each flap together better and trim any excess from edges. (sometimes folding makes the paper scoot a little and there is some hanging over)
