I thought I had shared this here on my blog earlier this year- but after a friend asked for it and could not find it and I searched and searched too - I guess I did not! SO if you can find it some where in my archives and you are the first to send me a link to it I will send you some goodies! I honestly have no idea where it is!
I did it originally on an Accordian card that I used for a make and take at several crops and classes at the beginning of the year - 2007. It is a 12x12 piece of paper cut to 5 x 12, then scored at 4 and 8 inches to form a trifold accordian style card. I did the tag punch tabs for the tabs on top of the card and placed 4 different size photo corners on the panels of the card.
And here is how I make the Photo corners. You start with a simple strip of Pattern paper or cardstock. Any size - this is a great way to use up all those left over strips! My strip for this one is pretty big - 2 1/2" - just so you can see it really well.
Take your strip and fold an airplane point in the center of the strip - start by folding one side over and down, and then the other.
Next flip it over and cut off the excess paper to form a nice even triangle of folded paper.
Now you are going to trim a V out of the center of your triangle on the LONGEST side - the depth and width of this V will determine the thickness of your Photo Corner. So trim One side first - keeping your cut Parallel with shorter outside of the triangle:
And then cut along the other side keeping parallel with the shorter outside of the triangle.
You can also cut just the front layer of the triangle if you want youw photo corner to be a little more substantial for attaching to a page and using like an actual photo corner to hold in a photo or laye without adhesive.
This is great to use for gift cards inside of cards, and also on photo cards so people can take the picture off the card to place elsewhere.

And here it is on a page in progress from my trip to the Caribbean:
I will post again when I have it finished!
