America I love...

 

Happy July!  Today in honor of the 4th the TAC Dream Team is focusing on this stamp set - America I Love.  It is a level A Hostess set - which you can earn for FREE!  Ask me for details!

I started by stamping with Memento ink onto our Copic Caboodle White cardstock.  Then I grabbed my copic colors I wanted to use - keeping in mind I was going to use Scarlet and Navy cardstocks.

Skin: E000, E00, E13
Hair: YR21, YR24
Rocks, Boat and Pants: E51, E55, W1
Trees and ground: G21, W3, G28
Reds: R24, R27, R29, W7
Water: BG72, BG75, White Signo Pen
White shirt and Sail: E51 and W1
Navy Sail: B39 and W7
Lady Liberty: W3 and G21

I know it is alot of colors - but it really is not hard!  I trimmed the image out then distressed the edges with my scissors (careful not to tear it!)  I then layered to Navy.

I stamped a Labels 4 shape with my background stamps with Desert Sand and Burnt Umber ink.  The I sponged and inked the edges til it was as dark as I wanted.  Next I layered it all to the card with a little silver Organza ribbon.
