OMG - look it's me!

I have been hiding out - took a well deserved week off from my studio - and spent spring break trying not to go insane from kid invasion!  :-)  All is back to regularly scheduled programing this morning!  Ipromise to get caught up this week on past sketches and all that jazz!

This is gonna be a fun shetch - do not get too hung up on the shapes I used - you can substitue your favorite shapes of course! I just love the labels 4 shape - it is by far the one I use the most. Another current fav of mine is flag ends! I got some new rubber - so I am really looking forward to playing this week in my studio! Especially since I do not have anything huge looming over me - I probably do but am currently in denial! For this week anyway...ok today...

Monday snowy Monday! When will it ever end? We thought all the snow was gone for the year - guess not huh? Well today I have a new sketch and then I gotta RUN! I have a HUGE to do list this week - lots of final touches on our angel weekend! I do hope you get a chance to play with the sketch!

This image I colored last year around this time - I just love that little bunny in the basket.  White polkadots on Kraft are a current obsession I think - VersaMagic Cloud White is the best!  Here is a little more detail:
 

I did use my copics to color - they add such a strong POP of color and allow you to add so much depth to your coloring!

I got my taxes off my to do list - YIPPEE!!!  That is a HUGE one for me every year - luckily I kept up a little better with sorting my receipts so it took way less time.    GO me!   Now to get some more checks on the LOOOONNNNGGGG list eh?

 I finally made good on my threat to get my studio cleaned up a bit over the weekend!  Whoo Hoo it feels so good to be able to see some countertop!  I still have a LOOOOOONNNGGGG way to go - but for now when I sit at my computer atleast all the mess is behind me!  (instead of threatenting to avalanche right down on top of me!)  ALl that cleaning though means no time creating!  I did start an attempt at last weeks sketch - and hopefully will finish it while I do this weeks.  I am wrapping up my prep for our area angel gathering - so have lots of cutting and project kit packing to do!  Will be a busy week for sure.

Seeing Shamrocks Blog Hop - plus a video!

TAC is hosting a Seeing Shamrocks Blog hop this weekend - and I wanted to play along.  Checking thru my stamps though - No Shamrocks!  What's a girl to do?  Well I got crafty!  I recently taught a new technique I called "Pinched Circle Flowers" which were very cute - and I just altered them a bit to make my shamrock!

 

I used Hip Hop papers for the Shamrocks - I love the rustic grungy look of those papers with such bright colors too!
