Seriously how are we already a full month into 2011?? Sheesh! I am pumped for this new sketch today - I think it is gonna be a fun one! Be sure to leave your linky if you give it a try - even if you don't have a blog you can still play! All you need to do is upload your card to a gallery somewhere and link to it there! (Can I suggest the TAC PaperCrafting Community???) Have fun!
Doesn't that have some potential??? I have ideas swimming in my head... along with the resdiue of a migraine! UGH! Seriously sick of these dang headaches people - and even more sick of complaining about it!
Tomorrow kicks off some specTACular new promos with TAC -including TONS of stamp sets at 25% off! but for today - the last day for the oz-some January promos!
I finally got to make this card that has been floating around in my head for a few days. I knew I wanted to feature the Catelynn collection palette - LOVE the fresh springy ness of it! We could sure use a little spring around these cold parts. I hope you get a chance to play with this or any of my sketches - you can add your linky in for a full year after the sketch - so you can go back and see what everyone did. Dont forget to add your linky if you get a chance to play!

Those are perfect colors when working with the color palette of the Catelynn Collection! I especially love the perfect match of the Lilly Pond green to the Catelynn collection! I have used tose together a few times and love them. Adding in the Toodle Loo blue cardstock works great too! I roughed up some of the edges of the pieces but not all of them. For the little strip I just sanded it. I think too much is just that - too much!
I used my scribble background technique for the sky - check out the video if you have not seen it before! (Or to see it again!)
There are just a few more days to get in on the January specials - don't miss out! Just e-mail me if you would like to place an order - or shop my secure site by clicking on any of the links.
More late night migraines and MUSH for brians. Thank goodness I did this sketch last week in advance! If you give it a try be sure to post your card in the linky - and add the hop to your blog too if you want!
I hope you have a chance to play in your creative space soon - I know I would be insane without that time everyday!
I had fun with this sketch - I could not wait to get my Damask on that corner!

So today turned into a snow day - and now I have kiddos home to include the Call of Duty invasion of death and destruction in my living room. I shoveled once already and we already have another inch atleast on top. My salt I put down is buried - not helping! I guess I am going to have to bundle up and shovel some more.
I hope you can bundle up and be creative - that is my plan!
I am battling a Migrane today - and having difficulty keeping my heater on! SO I am gonna be short and sweet...
If you have a chacne to play with todays sketch be sure to leave a linky below so we can all check it out! You do not have to have a blog - you can link to a photo gallery in an online community too!

I am still wrapping things up for this weekend - my swap cards are almost done. The design part is what always takes me the longest - once I have that the making is lickity split! Maybe I will share my gift for the gift exchange tomorrow - I made one for my team Christmas party exchange also and just LOVE how it turned out. Will have to see what all I get done today!
Holy smokes how did it get to be Wednesday already??? Oh ya - 2 snow days and a couple of headaches! And not the headaches were not named Laney and Logan! :-) I actually have had a heater issue - my lil' ole' spaceheater in my studio would not come on - I think it was on strike because it was under 50 degrees in here! Brrrrr! Well I got it on and then for some reason typepad would not accept my new post! So now it is wednesday and hopefully I can get back on track!

Instead they are going to come out with some super specTACular special to follow up Stamp-pa-palooza! I am anxious to see what it is - especially because they have promised NEW stamps in the special! Sounds like a good time to book a party right?? I am thinking February March or April would be good timing to get in on the new special. Book parties always count too! I just realized that I actually left a layer off my card that was in the sketch - oh well! Maybe I will do another one and add that layer in too - or maybe I will just take it off the sketch. I hope you find some inspiration in the sketch and card!
Well I had a nice little break from blogging - and hopefully I am back refreshed and better than before! I already have a jump start on several things I have coming up - I am so excited to share! So lets get started Even a day early since I usually do my sketches on MONDAY!) with the card sketch for this week shall we? Oh I had fun with this one - I added a few extra circles and a few buttons as embellishments - me likey!
Wanna hear the coolest thing? On New Years Eve as we were leaving my brother in laws house after celebrating the night away, I saw a shooting star! How freaking cool is that? We were walking down the drive and up to the car and I said wow look at all the stars! Then I was like "OMG a shooting star!!!" And my whole family was like "where?!!?"
I just have to think that it is a sign of the most fantabulous year to come ever! I am feeling especially inspired - especially to delve into some unchartered territory for me. I have a vision of some things I want to do - now to get to it!
TAC is off to a specTACular year - so many specials (that they have given us a LONG time to get!)
