Well I just got to go pick up my lil' Logan from School - he is not feeling good. Poor little guy. I wanted to share the card for Mondays sketch though - I used it as a swap card at my team meeting this past sunday.

I just LOVE the white embossing on that Reece Pattern Paper! While I was making this card I was thinking that this is a great way to spruce up papers that you are not in love with. I used the white gel pen around the edge as faux stitching - not so in love with that but it is ok I guess. The words are actually a long sentiment that I cut in half and stacked to make it fit in my oval shape. I love that about unmounted stamps - the versatility to cut them apart and use just what you want. When I do that I only make one snip - so that I can put them back together like a puzzle. In other words do not cut them and then trim around the edges.
I have lots to do today - and with Logan home sick I am sure we will read lots of books! I hope you all can stay warm - it is FREEZIN here in Kansas - blowing like a dickens and I even saw a few flakes wile I was out!
