Here is a coaster ornament that I have been having at my workshops this month as one of the make and takes. (Alice Ann and you St. Mary's girls will get to make on on Friday!) This is the last few days to get the GingerJoy stamp that is only available thru the end of Novembr 07 as a vintage set special- that guy is so CUTE! Plus he is only $4.25 with a $30 purchase.
Stamps: Curls and Swirls, Running Stitches, Lolabet Lowers, Ginger Joy - all images from The Angel Company
Cardstock: Kraft and Dark Green Cardstock, Wine Red 3 Matchmaker Cardstock
Ink: Burnt Umber Palette Ink
Accessories: YES Glue, Edge Distresser, White Soufle Gelly Roll Glaze pen, Red Gelly Roll Glaze pen, Prisma Color Pencils, Round Coaster, Brown Ribbon
I especially like how the Soufle White pen looks like frosting - because it is an opaque ink. And I used the red - which looks pretty pink on white paper - on the brown stamped letters and buttons and it looks more red! I inked the edges of the coaster before adhering the paper to the coaster with YES glue. That stuff works SO great on coaster projects!
My dearest friend Julie, aka Paperjewels did the most wonderful thing for me! Actually for US! I had told her that I wanted to print up scriptures to place in my Muffin Tin Advent Calendar and that my church sends out an advent calendar with a scripture for every day. Well I got it - and I am not the worlds best - or even close - typist! In fact I am mostly a hunt and peck kind of girl! I know it stinks - Mavis Beacon and I played for a while and I frankly do not have time to practice! Anywho - Julie said she would type them up for us! I scanned in the calendar and sent in on over and within minutes it seemed - voila!
SO if you would like to print off some scriptures here is the file
I am also putting together a list of Christmas "to do" items for a second calendar. I will keep you posted!
